The Canadian sculptor David Bernett is well-known internationally for his marble carvings since the 1970s and his work graces the halls of many corporations.
The David Bernett Inuit sculpture of an Eskimo hunter is a bas-relief carving on a tile of Aliveri marble. The Aliveri Quarry is located in Distos area in Evia island, 160 km away from Athens, where they extract the Aliveri Bluegrey, one of the greatest marble types since the Roman Empire.
