On a trip to the London, Judi had the privilege of drinking a Pimm’s at “The Actress” just off Lordship Lane in East Dulwich. The memories from that trip also include meeting her grandson for the first time. So perhaps her love affair with this charming family-friendly pub is stronger because she was also there with a group of local moms and their newborns (including her daughter-in-law and grandson) , enjoying a summer outing in the outdoor beer garden at 90 Crystal Palace Road. In 2021, Judi Bachmann created an original acrylic painting of the corner door leading to a cozy bar with a sunny color scheme inside. The patio – under a bright yellow awning – is edged with potted plants.
