Variations on a Theme – Hibiscus

Description

As a mixed-media artist Judi Bachmann loves to experiment with various ways of producing the same image. In this “Variations on a Theme” Hibiscus collage she has created many representations of one of her favorite flowers. This original collage includes the Hibiscus in a variety of forms:

• A photograph in color;
• A water-color painting;
• A bas-relief sculpture;
• An actual dried hibiscus flower from Judi’s garden – which inspired the piece; and
• A sepia photograph.
