Applying Feng Shui
When I started my Feng Shui project, I decided that the Prosperity corner would be the Bagua segment that I would tackle first . It would focus my energies on what I think is most important to me – finding a new career (or a new source of income). Continue reading Applying Feng Shui

Maritime Brown Bread

When I started making home-made bread in my bread machine, I found this recipe for Maritime Brown Bread in my favorite bread book. Whenever I make this loaf, my kids still recognize it because of its distinctive aroma. It’s a family favorite. Continue reading Maritime Brown Bread

I know so many people who suffer from some type of insomnia these days. Some who cannot fall asleep. Others who wake up in the middle of night and lay awake for hours – falling asleep again shortly before the alarm goes off . And a third group who wake at the crack of dawn – too early to rise – but they cannot get back to sleep.
The Reasons Why I Love Making Bread
What do you love most about fresh bread? The taste, smell, texture, shape, or what you can put between two slices of it? I must admit, I love all of these. But smell is my favorite – that sweet, yeasty aroma. And, I certainly love the taste of fresh home-made bread – with butter and jam, toasted or as sandwiches.
The other major reason for making home-made bread is that I know that the ingredients that I choose are natural and healthy for me. Continue reading The Reasons Why I Love Making Bread
